ATTN – across East Suffolk First week of June is national Neighbourhood Watch Week! We are doing 3 pop-up stalls across 3 venues! Being visible during that week is really important for us and we also thank the Police who are joining us. You can find us here, between 10 and 12 o’clock: Debenham Co-op, Chancery Lane IP14 6RN on Thursday 4th June Halesworth Co-op, Saxons Way IP19 8LU on Friday 5th JuneWoodbridge Co-op, Hamblin Road IP12 1DE Saturday 6th JuneAnd here are 3 good reasons to come and see us: How to register a Watch scheme where you live. We have FREE street-signs and branded door/window stickers. These act as a deterrent to crime, as well as crime prevention information and other give-aways. There’s not a lot of work involved to make a safer home and neighbourhood. For those of you who already coordinate a Watch scheme do drop by for new street-signs, literature, membership leaflets… everything you need. Consult the Police on local issues and any aspects of concern: for you or across your community. The Police tell us crime is about 20% lower in Neighbourhood Watch areas. What better reason to come and find us and hear more?
